We have at our disposal the power of Autodesk® Engineering software. This ensures utmost accuracy in designing a kitchen that actually fits... while eliminating common mis-orders and their associated delays. |
While estimating the cost of a kitchen or bath remodel is a service we provide for free, professional design of a kitchen or bath is available at a small fee that can be credited toward your remodel. Sure, some home centers offer "free" design service. But, consider the old caveat "you get what you pay for" The software or methods they use can hardly be referred to as "professional"
When we design a kitchen for you, we'll come out to your home and discuss your needs and interests. You can also view a sample kitchen and learn how the 3-d process helps us design better kitchens and baths that look and function the way you expect. You'll be shown several options to choose from ranging from colors and styles to materials and finishes. Also, you'll be given the opportunity to select accessories like: lazy-susans and sink trays, spice racks and wine racks, and much more.
Next, we'll measure the existing structure. And that's not all, we'll also measure the location of your lighting fixtures, surrounding windows, doors, furniture, and any items of concern to you. (like the sun's path.) If you are concerned about your privacy, we'll plot the location of your neighbor's house. Do you want to keep tabs on your small children while working online? We'll plot the location of the sandbox or jungle gym. What's the best patio door or picture window to perfectly frame the view of your floral garden and cherry tree from a new breakfast nook while you enjoy a cup of herbal tea? You get the idea. We don't just have superior skills and technology, we're talented artisans. Our time is valuable. We'll not be a waste of yours.
Within a few days, our design department will assemble a layout that fits within your specifications and helps express your personal style. After you have some time to consider the benefits of the layout, we'll meet back with you and answer any questions you have and make any changes you see fit. When you are confident that the final design suits you, we will proceed with calculating the cost of such a kitchen. (of course we'll provide you with a set of photos of your future kitchen, also.)
As mentioned earlier, if you already have a professional design, the estimate is free and the above process is unnecessary. Keep in mind, if you decline our professional design service, any major flaws in the measurements of designs others provide will likely adversely affect your final cost, no matter who installs your new kitchen. (We won't screw up your order, if we do, we'll eat the cost. Promise!)
